Senior Cloud Monitoring Administrator (NOC)

What You'll Do:

Monitoring & Incident Management:

• Monitor infrastructure health, server performance, and application availability using

  SolarWinds

  dashboards and alerts.
• Respond to infrastructure alerts, perform initial triage, and take corrective actions to ensure high availability and SLA compliance.
• Follow

  ITIL-aligned Incident Management

  workflows for escalation, documentation, and resolution tracking.
• Use

  Splunk (SIEM)

  for log analysis, alert correlation, and event investigation to identify root causes.
• Contribute to

  Problem Management

  activities by identifying recurring issues and supporting long-term fixes.

Server & OS Administration:

• Monitor and maintain

  Windows

  and

  Linux

  servers for CPU, memory, and disk utilization.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting, including service restarts, log review, and system health checks.
• Use

  iDRAC

  (or equivalent remote access tools) for hardware diagnostics and remote reboot operations.
• Support scheduled

  patching and maintenance activities

  in accordance with

  Change Management

  practices.

Virtualization & Cloud Support:

• Monitor

  VMware ESXi

  hosts and

  virtual machines

  for uptime, performance, and resource utilization.
• Perform initial troubleshooting for host connectivity, datastore usage, and VM availability issues.
• Support

  AWS Cloud

  monitoring, performance reviews, and cost analysis as part of hybrid infrastructure operations.

Network & Infrastructure Monitoring:

• Monitor network performance, device availability, and link utilization using

  SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM)

  .
• Understand

  basic networking concepts

  such as IP addressing, routing, switching, DNS, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with network and infrastructure teams for escalations and root cause investigations.

What You'll Bring:

• Comprehensive understanding of the ITIL framework

  Incident, Problem, and Change Management

  processes.

• Strong experience with SolarWinds

  , including infrastructure and network monitoring, alert configuration, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on

• Solid grasp of network fundamentals

  , including TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, and connectivity troubleshooting.

• Practical experience in Windows Server and Linux administration

• Working knowledge of VMware ESXi and vCenter

  , with the ability to monitor and maintain virtualized environments.

• Familiarity with remote server management tools

  such as

  iDRAC

  for hardware diagnostics.

• Strong documentation and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a 24x7 support
