Senior System Administrator

Role & responsibilities

1. Manage day-to-day IT infrastructure operations, including servers, networks, data centers, and end-user systems across all locations.
2. Supervise and guide L1/L2 IT support engineers to ensure timely issue resolution and high system uptime.
3. Oversee data security, user access controls, backup, and compliance with IT policies and standards.
4. Coordinate with vendors for AMC, hardware/software procurement, and project implementation.
5. Support SAP, shopfloor IoT systems, and production-critical applications to ensure business continuity.
6. Plan and implement IT upgrades, and process improvements in coordination with the Manager IT.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), firewalls, and backup systems.
2. Ability to lead and mentor IT support teams (L1/L2) and coordinate cross-department IT activities.
3. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve infrastructure and user-level issues quickly.
4. Experience in handling IT vendors, AMC contracts, and implementing infrastructure or security projects.
5. Understanding data protection, endpoint security, and license/software compliance requirements and CCTV.
