We are the Data Center Network Services team within Cisco IT that supports network services for Cisco Engineering and business functions worldwide. You are engaging and comfortable collaborating with fellow engineers across multiple disciplines as well as internal clients. You will create innovative, high-quality capabilities enabling our clients to have the best possible experience.
* Bachelor of Engineering or Technology with a minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, deploying, operating and managing scalable DC network infrastructure (using Nexus OS)
* Strong knowledge in TCP/IP internetworking, Routing, Switching, networking protocols and Routing protocols.
* Hands-on experience designing and operating Cisco hardware, including Nexus routers, ACI, ASA firewalls, FirePower NGFWs.
* Virtualization technologies, both networking (VRF, VDC) and understanding of compute (Linux, VMware, Openstack).
* Experience on handling incident, problem and change management
* Familiarity with DevOps principles, comfortable with Agile practices
* CCNP or CCIE
* Expertise on Enterprise & Data Center networking technologies.
* Expertise on latest Cisco hardware and operating systems (Catalyst, Nexus, IOS/IOS-XE/IOS-XR, NX-OS and ACI)
* Large-scale network infrastructure support skills and In-depth knowledge of network management, network availability, and network automation.
* Basic knowledge, understanding of Git and REST API.
* Authority level internetworking solve in a large-scale network environment.
