Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Civil Site Engineer in a township project, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction on-site, including planning, design, budget management, and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards. Your role will involve leading and coordinating teams, resolving technical issues, and ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of the project. Key Responsibilities: - Planning and Design: - Assess project requirements and site feasibility by evaluating the suitability of the site for the planned development. - Develop detailed designs by creating architectural drawings and schematics for various infrastructure components. - Prepare engineering designs to ensure they meet project specifications, regulations, and standards. - Construction Management: - Oversee construction activities by supervising and coordinating the work of contractors and subcontractors. - Manage budgets and schedules by tracking expenses, ensuring projects stay on schedule, and identifying potential cost overruns. - Ensure quality control by implementing measures to meet standards and specifications. - Address technical issues by resolving problems that arise during construction in a cost-efficient manner. - Team Management: - Lead and support engineering teams by providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective performance. - Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, consultants, and other parties, to meet project goals. - Compliance and Safety: - Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations by adhering to all relevant laws, rules, and standards. - Prioritize safety by implementing procedures and ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel. - Other Responsibilities: - Prepare reports by documenting project progress, addressing issues, and communicating with stakeholders. - Manage project risks by identifying and mitigating potential risks that could impact the project. - Maintain site records by keeping accurate records of project activities, materials, and costs. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 4 years of experience as a Township Civil Engineer. - Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Proficient in project planning, budget management, and quality control. - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
