Job Description

Laboratory & Process Quality Control

Conduct and supervise analysis of bauxite, slurry, liquor, hydrate, and alumina samples.
Monitor key refinery parameters: caustic concentration, alumina/soda ratio, impurity levels (SiO₂, Fe₂O₃, Na₂O), moisture, etc.
Ensure accuracy of titration, AAS, ICP, XRF, and other instrumental methods.
Validate and approve analytical results for process control.

Process Monitoring & Support

Collaborate with process engineers to optimize digestion, clarification, precipitation, and calcination stages.
Identify anomalies in process quality through lab results and recommend corrective actions.
Support root-cause analysis for quality deviations.

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure laboratory compliance with ISO, EH&S, and refinery QA/QC standards.
Maintain updated SOPs, calibration records, COAs, MSDS, and audit documentation.
Oversee chemical inventory, storage, and safe handling procedures.

Team Leadership

Guide and supervise junior chemists and lab technicians.
Conduct training on analytical methods, safety, and equipment operation.
Coordinate with production, safety, and quality departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
