Senior Business Development / Team Leader

As a Senior Business Development professional/Team Leader based in Mumbai (Thane location), you will play a crucial role in leading the business development efforts of our dynamic team. Your primary responsibilities will include driving growth, identifying new market opportunities, managing a team of business development executives, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. You will actively engage with potential clients, develop strategies for client acquisition and retention, and work closely with the marketing team to create effective campaigns. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring junior team members, building strong relationships with key clients, monitoring market trends, and continuously improving business development processes. Your role will require strong experience in business development, lead generation, and sales conversion, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills. You should possess strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate your team, as well as the ability to identify new business opportunities and drive the sales cycle effectively. Problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role. Proficiency in CRM tools and the Microsoft Office Suite is required, along with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields (preferred). With a minimum of 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, including at least 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role, you should have a proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets. Experience in strategic sales planning, business development, and closing deals will be advantageous. Previous experience in a senior BD or TL role is highly desirable.
