Senior Bookkeeper

US Bookkeeper (5+ Years Experience | Sage)

A U.S.-based company (confidential; headquartered in Maryland, USA) is seeking a highly experienced Bookkeeper to join its growing team. The company name will be disclosed to shortlisted candidates during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and timely financial records for U.S.-based operations.
• Post, process, and reconcile financial transactions in Sage and QuickBooks (Desktop & Online).
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and client-ready summaries.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Strong, proven experience in Sage is mandatory.
• Prior experience handling U.S. accounting/bookkeeping is highly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related office software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts independently.

Other Details:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Shift Timings: U.S. Maryland shift (Monday to Friday) 5PM to 2:30AM IST
• Location: Ahmedabad, India (WFO Only)
