Senior Banking Professional / Senior Advisor – Banking Operations

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and highly knowledgeable Senior Banking Professional, preferably an ex-banker, with extensive experience in retail/commercial/corporate banking. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise, regulatory insight, and strategic thinking to support the organization’s banking and financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and advice on banking operations, credit processes, compliance frameworks, and regulatory matters.
• Provide strategic input in financial planning, treasury operations, and risk mitigation.
• Liaise with external banks, financial institutions, and regulators for smooth operational execution.
• Ensure adherence to RBI and other statutory guidelines across financial operations.
• Support product design and evaluation, especially in banking-related financial services.
• Drive initiatives to optimize working capital management, loan documentation, and credit assessment processes.
• Monitor banking relationships and oversee the effective use of banking products and services.
• Mentor internal teams on best banking practices and risk control mechanisms.
• Contribute to audits, due diligence, and compliance reviews.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate/Post-Graduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
• Additional certifications like CAIIB, MBA (Finance), or CFA preferred.
• 20+ years of experience in the banking sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or decision-making role.
• Strong grasp of banking operations, financial instruments, risk frameworks, and compliance norms.

Preferred Background

• Retired or former senior officer from a nationalized, private, or foreign bank.
• Exposure to digital banking systems and evolving FinTech trends will be an added advantage.

Compensation

Commensurate with experience and profile.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
