Overview

Senior Backend Engineer

Azure OpenAI integrations, OCR pipelines, and event-driven real-time systems

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using

  Node.js (NestJS) and TypeScript

  .
• Design and implement

  GraphQL APIs

  and multiple system integrations.
• Architect, optimize, and scale backend systems on

  Azure Container Apps

  .
• Implement

  Azure OpenAI integrations

  and

  OCR pipelines

  .
• Work on both

  monolithic

  and

  microservices-based architectures

  .
• Design and integrate

  event-driven, real-time systems

  with

  WebSocket connections

  .
• Ensure

  90–95% unit test coverage

  for all code developed.
• Conduct performance tuning, scalability improvements, and debugging.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver robust, secure, and enterprise-level solutions.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in

  Node.js (NestJS framework preferred)

  .
• Proficiency in

  TypeScript

  with a focus on scalable architecture.
• Hands-on experience in

  GraphQL API design, implementation, and integrations

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  PostgreSQL

  and

  Azure cloud (Container Apps, scaling, performance tuning)

  .
• Experience with

  Azure OpenAI integrations

  and

  OCR pipelines

  .
• Proven background in

  monolithic and microservices architectures

  .
• Experience with

  event-driven systems, real-time processing, and WebSockets

  .
• Ability to deliver maintainable code with

  90–95% unit test coverage

  .
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
