Delhi Full-Time 4+ Years with at least 2+ years in Python/Django Senior Backend Engineer (Python) We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer (Python) with 4+ years of backend development experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on expertise in Django. This role demands deep technical knowledge, a solid grasp of cloud-native concepts, and proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams. Ideal candidates should also bring working experience in deploying python applications virtual machines, and containerized application deployments. You will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing backend systems, and supporting cutting-edge cloud marketplace, and others delivering seamless experiences to developers and enterprises in the cloud. Job Responsibilities Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance backend systems using Python and Django Architect and implement distributed microservices, RESTful APIs, schedulers and serverless workflows (e.g., E2E Functions) Architect and implement tasks based on Celery. Manage the lifecycle(offer, subscription, fulfillment) of marketplace virtual machine images, including creation, versioning region-based distribution, and orchestration using OpenNebula Develop and manage the billing system for subscription based on the consumption of marketplace items consumed by customers. Collaborate with DevOps teams to containerize applications with Docker and deploy them to Kubernetes clusters Knowledge on application reliability with DRBD-based replication and contribute to high-availability and disaster recovery software features. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, builds, and deployments Ensure unit test coverage of 95% or above Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and architecture discussions, SOLID principles. Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices by following SOLID principles or equivalent. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align software architecture with business goals Skill Sets and qualifications required: 4+ years of backend development experience with Python, with at least 2 years using Python/Django Experienced in object-oriented design, with demonstrated adherence to SOLID principles in real-world projects Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) Comfortable with Git and collaborative workflows Proven leadership in managing teams or mentoring junior engineers Strong debugging and performance optimization skills Nice to have: Experience with Golang or interest in learning it Bonus: Exposure to serverless architecture in AWS, GCP, or Azure Apply today Kindly assist in fast forwarding your application by sending us a mail on the email ID mentioned below!
