Job Description

Description

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should be strong in backend technologies, cloud infrastructure, and modern DevOps practices, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications and databases
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and gRPC services to support frontend and third-party integrations
  • Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL database schemas for performance and scalability
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS or Azure cloud platforms
  • Implement Docker-based containerization and manage deployments
  • Use Kubernetes for container orchestration, auto-scaling, and self-healing
  • Implement monitoring and observability using Prometheus / .NET Aspire
  • Integrate APIs, webhooks, and external systems
  • Use Git for version control and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in C# and C++ for backend development
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, gRPC, and Webhooks
  • Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Strong experience in AWS or Azure cloud services
  • Proficiency in Docker and containerized deployments
  • Experience with Kubernetes for orchestration
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus / .NET Aspire
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Good communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 612 years of relevant backend development experience
  • Experience with Node-RED and MQTT brokers
  • Exposure to IoT platforms and real-time data systems
  • Familiarity with additional languages such as Python or Java
