Senior Backend Developer (Node.js)

We are a fast-growing B2B SaaS company building a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform for large enterprises. Our platform digitizes and automates the entire contract management process, and is currently scaling to meet enterprise-grade demands for security, stability, and performance.

We are now looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who can take ownership of transforming our current monolithic application into a modular, secure, and scalable architecture. This role is critical to strengthening our engineering foundations and preparing the platform for future AI-driven innovations.

What We’re Looking For:

• You’ve spent 5–8 years building and scaling backend systems, and you’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves in Node.js / Express.
• You’ve worked with both monoliths and microservices, and you know when to refactor, when to rebuild, and when to leave things alone.
• Databases don’t scare you. You understand MySQL inside-out — how to design schemas, tune queries, add the right indexes, and keep things running fast even at scale.
• Security is second nature — you care about writing safe, clean code and keeping customer data protected.
• You’ve seen systems buckle under scale or instability, and you’ve been the person who fixed them — whether by improving performance, simplifying architecture, or introducing better processes.
• You enjoy mentoring teammates and raising the bar on code quality, reviews, and engineering discipline.
• You’re curious about infrastructure — maybe you’ve dabbled in Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS, and you understand how apps live in production.
• You like working closely with frontend and product teams, translating business needs into simple, scalable technical solutions.

Bonus Points If

• You’ve built SaaS products or worked in enterprise environments where security, uptime, and scale really matter.
• You’ve experimented with event-driven systems, queues, or async processing.
• You’re interested in AI/ML integration and want to help shape how our backend connects with advanced AI workflows.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
