Position Overview

Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using

    Selenium WebDriver with C#

    .
  • Build and maintain robust automation frameworks (POM, Data-driven, Hybrid, BDD).
  • Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and product teams to define automation scope and test strategies.
  • Perform regression, functional, system, and integration testing using automation tools.
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD tools such as

    Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions

    , etc.
  • Troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and document defects in tracking tools (JIRA, Azure Boards).
  • Ensure clear documentation of scripts, frameworks, and processes.
  • Continuously optimize automation scripts and improve test coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience

    in Automation Testing using

    Selenium with C#

    .
  • Strong proficiency in

    C#

    , OOP concepts, LINQ, and collections.
  • Experience with

    NUnit

    , MSTest, or xUnit frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of

    Page Object Model (POM)

    and automation design patterns.
  • Experience using

    SpecFlow (BDD)

    is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of

    API automation

    (RestSharp, Postman, Swagger).
  • Hands-on experience with

    Git

    for version control.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Basic understanding of SQL and database validations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to Have

  • Experience with cloud-based test platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Understanding of Docker or container-based testing.
