Senior Associate/Associate Budgetary Control & Donor Reporting

Job Description About the Role: The person will be responsible for ensuring the donor reporting requirements are prepared on time and effectively managed throughout the year. This includes conducting necessary analyses, coordinating with other teams, and providing timely reports to donors as required. They will work collaboratively with our existing team to complete the assigned tasks. Role and Responsibilities Collaborate with program teams to prepare and submit timely and accurate periodic financial reports Conduct regular Budget Follow-Up with the program team to ensure expenses are aligned with the approved budget Assist in project budget forecasting and expenditure monitoring Prepare and facilitate during internal and external audits, ensuring the timely availability of records Educational Qualification/Experience: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial and accounts management, preferably in the NGO or development sector. Prior experience with trust/society accounting would be an advantage. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Good interpersonal and communication skills Good working knowledge in MS office packages, including Excel Ability to manage data efficiently Other Details: Scope: Full-time, flexible work hours Location: Chennai Reporting Manager: Senior Manager, Budgetary Control Salary Range: Rs 3,60,000/- to Rs 4,80,000/-.
