Job Description The Asia Group is now accepting applications for a Senior Associate, Research, to join our India Office in New Delhi. The Senior Associate will be an integral member of TAG India, led by Partner and India Chair Ashok Malik and Managing Director Aman Raj Khanna. Responsibilities Include Overseeing a business-oriented thought leadership and research agenda for TAG India, to include original analyses, long-form reports, and other pan-client deliverables; Identifying and implementing initiatives and processes to elevate TAG India’s thought leadership, including through steady and high-quality engagement through webinars, Op Eds, and other mediums; Initiating novel research projects, both short and long-term, and seeing them to completion; Providing editorial oversight and guidance on research deliverables; Mentoring junior staff on writing quality and analytical rigor. May be assigned other tasks or special projects according to business needs. Job Requirements Advanced degree (e.g., MA/MBA/MPA) and at least 5 years’ relevant work experience; Experience (including client engagement and editorial expertise) in research, journalism, consulting, business intelligence, or related communities; Command over geopolitical and domestic political trends impacting business equities in India; Passion to lead growth of TAG India’s capabilities and profiles for internal research as well as public thought leadership, leveraging different approaches and mediums to do so; Attention to detail and excellent project management skills, including meeting tight deadlines, communicating clearly, and reliably balancing competing priorities; Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, including a collegial attitude and desire to learn from and mentor colleagues; Team player with positive, proactive, and professional attitude, including eagerness for professional development and openness to learning; High levels of English proficiency; Work experience in India.
