As a Senior Associate - Financial Control at Modulus Housing, you will play a crucial role in designing the controls that keep ambition on track. With a focus on rapid scale and disciplined growth, finance at Modulus is not just about numbers but about architecting control, resilience, and clarity to transform complexity into actionable insights. **Role Overview:** Your primary responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and monitoring internal financial controls to ensure accuracy, accountability, and compliance across all operations. - Building scalable financial workflows, supporting ERP rollouts or upgrades, and embedding efficiency and discipline into daily processes. - Monitoring and analyzing financial data, identifying variances or anomalies, and providing actionable recommendations for strategic and operational decisions. - Anticipating operational and financial risks, designing mitigation measures, and ensuring alignment with statutory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. - Maintaining comprehensive records, dashboards, and structured reports for audits and management oversight. - Partnering across finance, operations, and leadership teams to embed strong control practices in day-to-day business. - Leading initiatives to simplify financial controls through technology and AI-enabled solutions, anticipating challenges and designing practical solutions to improve efficiency and governance. **Qualifications Required:** To be successful in this role, you should possess: - 6+ years of experience in finance, consulting, internal audit, or financial advisory with exposure to internal controls, process improvement, and governance. - Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and ERP systems. Hands-on ERP implementation experience is a plus. - Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, ERP tools, and familiarity with employee benefits accounting, debt/equity instruments, forex, and banking/NBFC functions. - Excellent English and Hindi communication skills with the ability to constructively engage across teams and leadership. - Attributes such as ownership mindset, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and commitment to building robust financial systems.
