Job Description

Role: The GAC SPOD – Commercial team conducts business, financial, and market research to support and contribute to our clients (Sales) business development initiatives. This role plays a vital part in assembling custom pitches, collaterals, pre-meeting packages, value books, reporting, operations, CDDQ’s and executing other key activities. Some of these activities include: Functional Responsibility & Domain Related Content Development: Create Pre-Meeting Briefings, Value Books, RFPs , and other presentation and research materials in PowerPoint, Word or Excel, tailored to specific companies or sectors. Project-Based Research: Conduct data management, analysis, and industry research to support business development. Market & Competitive Intelligence: Track client products, services, industry trends, and competitor activity to provide actionable insights. Client Due Diligence (CDD): Assist in preparing, reviewing, and completing Client Due Diligence Questionnaires, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting. Market Analysis & Forecasting: Perform market sizing, statistical modeling, and trend analysis to support Ratings sales strategies. Operational Efficiency: Manage queries, mailbox support, and optimize reporting mechanisms. Automated Business Intelligence: Create weekly/monthly reports and dashboards utilizing BI tools for seamless data management. Client & Stakeholder Management Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with clients and internal teams across global markets, ensuring seamless service delivery. Collaborate actively with stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and optimize business development processes. Candidate Profile: Understanding of international financial markets, credit rating systems, and financial instruments, with awareness of industry trends and market developments. Experience with financial tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, IHS Markit, etc. Problem-solving skills and ability to work with large datasets Proficiency in Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and other BI tools. Strong verbal and written communication. Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 0-1 years of relevant experience in research, business development, financial analysis, or operations.
