Role & responsibilities

  • Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for services provided.

Payment Follow-Up : Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments or discrepancies.

  • Follow up with payers (insurance companies) for pending or delayed reimbursements.

Denial Management : Analyze and categorize denial reasons, such as coding errors or missing documents.

  • Communicate with internal teams (billing, coding) to correct errors.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Familiarity with ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes, along with payer policies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Experience with resolving claim rejections and denials.
  • Proficiency in English, especially for international claims follow-up.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to payer requirements.
