Profile Summary:
The Senior Accounts Payable Analyst will manage HID India s overseas vendor payments, import-related transactions, and fixed asset accounting, ensuring full compliance with Indian tax, RBI, and customs regulations.
The role involves coordinating with AD banks, external consultants, and internal teams for timely remittances of goods and services, applying correct withholding tax under DTAA or domestic rates, and maintaining proper documentation for imports.
The analyst will also oversee capitalization and depreciation of fixed assets, perform reconciliations in FloQast, support internal and statutory audits, and report AP and intercompany balances in HFM. This position is critical to maintaining strong internal controls, and enabling efficient financial operations within HID India s distribution and CoE operations.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

- Responsible for accounting of overseas supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and payment procedures.
- Process overseas payments (A1) for import of goods, including intercompany and contract manufacturer invoices, by coordinating with the AD banker and submitting required documents such as invoices, shipping documents (BOE, AWB), for timely remittance processing.
- Process payments for overseas vendors for import of services (A2) by coordinating with external consultants for 15CA/15CB certification; apply appropriate withholding tax rates under DTAA (supported by TRC, Form 10F, No-PE declaration) or standard Income Tax Act rates when DTAA benefits are not claimed; submit documentation to the AD banker for remittance.
- Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain team for inventory and non-inventory overseas purchases to ensure timely receipt of vendor invoices and necessary supporting documents required for foreign remittances.
- Manage Fixed Assets including capitalization of assets (e.g., laptops, servers, IT equipment), maintaining the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), verifying asset classifications, processing accounting entries, and running periodic depreciation.
- Responsible for ICT reporting of AP intercompany payables in the HFM tool by compiling and validating relevant overseas accounts payable data.
- Support internal, statutory, and tax audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation related to AP and Fixed Assets processes.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation data for AP and Fixed Assets-related GL accounts in FloQast.
- Track and monitor unvouchered inventory and non-inventory GL balances; coordinate with Supply Chain and IT teams to promptly resolve outstanding issues and system discrepancies.
Education and/or Experience:
- Post Graduation in Commerce (M.Com / MBA in Finance)
- Previous experience of 7+ Years in Account Payable, Dispute Management, and vendor facing role.
- Strong ability to communicate internally and externally.
- Typing skills (preferably completed typing junior certification).
- Strong ability to take initiative and self start when necessary.
- Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions.
- Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP (Oracle/SAP) experience preferred.
