Senior Angular Developer

Experience Required: 7+ years

We are looking for a Senior Angular Developer to build a scientific, data-rich dashboard for client in subsurface engineering team. The dashboard will feature complex graphs, multi-tab structures, and real-time data visualizations sourced from Snowflake, Azure SQL DB, and other data sources via REST APIs and Azure Data Factory pipelines. This is a critical role requiring strong expertise in Angular, data handling, and integration with cloud-based data services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a modular, responsive Angular web application with scientific dashboard views.
• Implement multi-tab interfaces, dynamic chart rendering, and responsive UI components.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs that expose data from Snowflake, Azure SQL Database, and other structured sources.
• Work closely with data engineering teams to consume data pipelines built with Azure Data Factory.
• Use advanced charting libraries to visualize scientific and engineering data (time-series, XY plots, subsurface patterns, etc.).
• Write clean, maintainable Angular code with reusable components, services, and proper state management.
• Optimize frontend performance for large data volume rendering and fast interaction.

Required Skills & Experience

Frontend Development:

• 7+ years of frontend web development experience
• 4+ years of Angular (v10 or higher) with hands-on experience in:
  • Angular CLI, RxJS, Angular Router, Forms, Services, HTTPClient
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS

Data Visualization:

• Proven experience building complex data visualizations and charts using:
  • D3.js, Highcharts, Plotly.js, or Chart.js
• Ability to render and optimize large datasets for user interactivity

Cloud & Data Integration:

• Experience consuming data from Snowflake using REST APIs or connectors
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure SQL Database: schema, query understanding
• Experience working with data from Azure Data Factory pipelines – understand pipeline execution, data formats, and endpoints
• Understanding of data integration and API design patterns

Tooling & Collaboration:

• Experience with Git, Agile/Scrum, Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Angular unit testing (Jasmine/Karma)

Nice to Have :

• Domain experience in oil & gas, geoscience, or engineering dashboards
• Familiarity with OAuth2/token-based API authentication
• Experience debugging API data issues in developer tools and postman
• Understanding of Azure Services: Key Vault, Function Apps, App Services, or Logic Apps
