Role Description

The Senior Analytical Chemist GC-MS role is a

full-time, on-site position based in Chennai

. The ideal candidate will be an experienced analytical chemist with a proven track record in

GasChromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS)

and various chromatography techniques. This role involves method development, validation, sample analysis, and troubleshooting of complex analytical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods using GC-MS and other chromatography techniques. • Analyze complex liquid and multi-component mixtures using GC-MS and other chromatography methods. • Perform method development, sample preparation, and data interpretation for challenging samples. • Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and ensure high-quality, reproducible results. • Collaborate with R&D, quality control, or operation teams to support projects.

Qualifications

: •

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, orrelated field, with more than 5 years of relevant experience.

• Extensive hands-on experience with GC-MS for complex liquid mixtures. •

Experience with a variety of chromatography techniques such as HPLC, UHPLC, IC,TLC, and GC.

• Strong knowledge of method validation, sample preparation, and data analysis. • Familiarity with software for instrument control and data reporting
