Role Description

We are looking for an experienced AI/ML professional with strong hands-on expertise in Python, statistics, traditional machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI. The role involves contributing to end-to-end AI project lifecycles, designing robust architectures, driving solution delivery, and gradually taking on leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the complete AI project lifecycle from concept to delivery.
• Take on progressive leadership responsibilities, including mentoring and guiding team members.
• Design and own both high-level and low-level architecture for scalable, maintainable AI and GenAI applications.
• Work closely with sales and business development teams to create technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and high-level estimates for Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
• Act as an individual contributor when needed by developing key solution components and establishing best practices.
• Research, design, and implement ML, deep learning, and LLM-driven models (e.g., GPT, BERT), including fine-tuning and deploying them for production.
• Build end-to-end NLP pipelines and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems using LangChain, LangGraph, and vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, or Weaviate.
• Apply statistical methods to feature engineering, evaluation, experimentation, and performance optimization.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, testing, CI/CD workflows, and documentation.
• Stay updated with advancements in AI/ML and proactively propose innovative solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, foster peer learning, and contribute to a strong engineering culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills & Competencies (Must-Have)

• Python Coding:

  Strong hands-on coding capabilities with the ability to solve & coding problems during evaluation.

• Statistics:

  Solid knowledge of fundamental and applied statistical concepts for model evaluation and optimization.

• Traditional Machine Learning:

  Strong understanding of classical algorithms (SVM, Decision Trees, Random Forests, etc.), use cases, and evaluation strategies.

• Deep Learning:

  Understanding of modern architectures (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers) and core deep learning concepts.

• Generative AI:

  Good understanding of LLMs, modern GenAI workflows, fine-tuning, and deployment patterns.
• Proficient in Python and popular ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Experience with NLP tools like HuggingFace Transformers, SpaCy, and NLTK.
• Practical experience in fine-tuning and deploying LLMs, and building GenAI-powered applications.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, and vector stores (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate).
• Experience deploying ML models and services using REST APIs, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and end-to-end solution architecture.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
• 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 3–4 years in AI/ML model development, deployment, and architecture.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting technical pre-sales activities through proposals, client discussions, and solution presentations.
