Job Description

1. Legal Representation & Litigation Management
• Represent the company before civil, criminal, and high courts, consumer forums, RERA, and other judicial or quasi-judicial authorities.• Handle builder-buyer disputes, property-related litigations, and contractual disagreements.• Draft and file legal notices, replies, writ petitions, affidavits, and other court documents.• Coordinate with external law firms, senior counsels, and advocates for complex cases.• Prepare case briefs, manage hearing schedules, and ensure timely follow-up on all ongoing cases.2. Builder Line & Real Estate Legal Matters• Handle all builder line-related legal issues, including project approvals, land acquisition, redevelopment agreements, joint venture agreements, and contractor/vendor disputes.• Ensure compliance with RERA, local municipal regulations, and real estate laws.• Review and draft sale deeds, lease deeds, conveyance deeds, and other real estate agreements.• Manage title verification, property due diligence, and land ownership documentation.3. Civil & Criminal Cases• Manage and defend the company’s interest in civil suits (contractual disputes, possession, and recovery) and criminal cases (fraud, trespass, or other offenses).• File complaints, coordinate investigations, and represent the company in criminal proceedings when required.• Provide preventive legal advice to management to avoid potential disputes or criminal liabilities.4. Police & Local Authority Matters• Liaise effectively with local police departments, law enforcement agencies, and government bodies for case resolutions.• Handle FIRs, complaints, and mediation related to company operations, sites, or employees.• Ensure all police-related matters are managed lawfully and in the company’s best interest.5. Legal Advisory & Compliance• Provide sound legal advice on contracts, regulatory matters, and dispute resolution strategies.• Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory obligations related to real estate and construction business.• Draft and review MoUs, NDAs, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements.• Maintain updated knowledge of property law, civil and criminal codes, RERA regulations, and municipal by-laws.6. Documentation & Reporting• Maintain organized records of all court cases, property documents, and legal correspondences.• Submit regular status reports on ongoing cases to management.• Advise management on case progress, risks, and next legal steps.
