Senior Admission Counsellor

Responsibilities for Admissions Counselor

· Review prospective student applications for college admission

· Research and verify the accuracy of application information

· Make a call to students and convince them for admission in our college

· Follow-up with students to verify any application issues.

· Contact applicant references to verify information

· Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families.

· Counsel students on program options, eligibility criteria, application processes, and career paths.

· Review and evaluate applications to ensure they meet admission criteria.

· Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, webinars, and campus tours.

· Develop and implement outreach strategies to attract high-quality applicants.

· Build strong relationships with schools, colleges, consultants, and other stakeholders.

· Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application status using CRM systems.

· Mentor and guide junior admission counselors.

· Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the admissions process and student experience.

· Represent the institution at education fairs, open houses, and community events.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

· Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in admissions, counseling, or a related field.

· Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.

· Willingness to travel as needed.

· Familiarity with domestic and international admission processes.

· Multilingual abilities are a plus.

· Experience in student lifecycle management.

· Empathetic and student-focused approach.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,115.13 - ₹30,069.75 per month
