Senior Accountant – Tally & Documentation Expert

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Senior Accountant who can take full ownership of accounting, day-to-day financial tracking, and documentation. This is not just a data entry role — the candidate should guide the management with clear insights and bring financial clarity to our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally Prime
• Handle daily entries – purchase, sales, payments, receipts, and journal vouchers
• Prepare and maintain cash flow statements, fund usage reports
• Track and document day-to-day expenses, file all bills and vouchers
• Generate monthly reports and help management monitor financial discipline
• Coordinate with external auditors for GST filing and tax compliance
• Ensure strong internal control and maintain updated ledgers
• Maintain asset register and basic depreciation documentation
• Provide weekly reports and suggestions to improve financial efficiency
• Liaise with Auditors and Government departments during audit and inspections.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG company
• Strong Tally Prime expertise (mandatory)
• Working knowledge of GST entries and filing process
• Good with Excel and document control
• Strong sense of accountability, ethics, and transparency
• Ability to explain financial data clearly to management
• Language: Tamil-speaking preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
