Job Description – Senior Accountant
Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Manikonda - Hyderabad
Experience: 3–7 years
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant who can independently handle day-to-day accounting operations, invoicing, statutory filings, MIS reports, and finalization of accounts. The candidate should be proficient in Zoho Books and well-versed with Indian taxation and compliance.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain books of accounts including ledgers, journals, and vouchers
  • Handle cash books, bank books, and petty cash
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate posting of entries in Zoho Books

Invoicing & Billing

  • Prepare and issue invoices, tax invoices, and cash bills
  • Track receivables and follow up for outstanding payments
  • Maintain proper billing records and documentation

Taxation & Compliance

  • Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR)
  • Handle GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation, etc.)
  • Ensure timely statutory compliances and maintain compliance records
  • Coordinate with CA/auditors when required

Reports & MIS

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Generate MIS reports, P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Assist management with financial insights and data

Documentation & Filing

  • Maintain proper accounting files, vouchers, bills, and statutory records
  • Ensure systematic filing (physical & digital) for audits and references

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com, M.Com preferred)
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books
  • Hands-on experience with invoicing, ledgers, GST, ITR, and reporting
  • Good understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax laws
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred

  • Experience in real estate / property management / services industry
  • Experience handling multiple entities or group companies

Compensation

  • Salary: As per experience and skill set

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,902.53 per month
