Description
As an experienced Accountant, your role will involve executing monthly accounting close activities, such as journal entries, account reconciliations, analytics, and reporting for entities acquired in business combinations. You will also be responsible for preparing accounting entries across various financial activities, conducting monthly/quarterly financial statement flux variance analysis, and providing support for Statutory, 10-Q, and 10-K reporting processes by preparing supporting schedules. Your ability to work cross-functionally with business partners to offer financial insights and relevant reporting will be crucial. Key Responsibilities: - Execute monthly accounting close activities and deliverables - Prepare accounting entries for various financial activities - Conduct monthly/quarterly financial statement flux variance analysis - Support the Statutory, 10-Q, and 10-K reporting process - Assist in coordinating audits and SOX testing with auditors - Collaborate with Regional and International accounting teams for process alignment - Create and maintain process documentation - Deliver on ad-hoc projects as required Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of relevant experience in Accounting with attention to detail and deadline-oriented approach - Experience in interpreting and applying US GAAP and local GAAP - Proficiency in SOX control documentation and execution - Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently - Understanding of international statutory reporting/compliance processes - Knowledge of ERP systems like Oracle, Workday Financials, Netsuite, etc. - Familiarity with tools like Blackline, eGRC360, Tableau, Hyperion, Microsoft Excel, etc. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Passion for process improvement and automation - Ability to adapt to a challenging and evolving environment If you are a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of the organization.
