Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / ERP or accounting software.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements, vendor ledgers, and client accounts.
• Ensure accuracy in project-wise cost allocation and expense tracking.

2. GST & Statutory Compliance

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).
• Handle input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation and maintain proper GST documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for compliance and assessments.
• Ensure compliance with TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.

3. Project Accounting

• Track and report project-wise revenues, costs, and profitability.
• Prepare work-in-progress (WIP) statements and assist in project budgeting.
• Manage client billing and certification of running account (RA) bills.

4. Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Support management in preparing MIS reports and variance analysis.
• Assist in annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.

5. Other Duties

• Maintain records for fixed assets and depreciation.
• Handle petty cash and site-level expense monitoring.
• Support management with financial forecasts and budgeting.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
