Senior Accountant

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Maa Durga Food Products LLP. The ideal candidate will handle daily accounting operations, maintain financial records, and ensure smooth and accurate management of company accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including billing, purchase entry, data entry, and stock management.
• Maintain and reconcile ledgers, cash books, and day books.
• Handle employee salary preparation and expense tracking.
• Perform Tally Prime entries with accuracy and ensure timely GST filing and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports as required by management.
• Ensure proper record-keeping and adherence to accounting standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field (Required)
• Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of total accounting experience (Required)
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tally Prime & GST filing (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) (Required)

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Proficiency in Tally Prime, GST filing, and MS Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Good communication skills in English (Required)

Schedule:

• Day Shift (Fixed Shift)
• Full-time, on-site position
