About the Role

Ithis Hospital is looking for a Senior Accountant with at least 3 years of experience in hospital accounting to manage financial operations, audits, and compliance. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Remedi hospital software and accounting systems such as Tally ERP.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Manage hospital billing, patient receipts, vendor payments, and collection tracking through Remedi software.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Professional Tax).
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely submission of reports and supporting documents.
• Conduct periodic internal audits to verify accuracy and strengthen internal controls.
• Reconcile bank, cash, and interdepartmental accounts regularly.
• Maintain accurate records for accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare MIS reports, budgets, and variance analyses.
• Ensure all financial data and audit records are properly documented and filed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a hospital or healthcare setup.
• Proficiency in Remedi Hospital Software, Tally ERP, and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of audit processes, financial controls, and hospital billing systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and analytical ability.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a team.
