Job Type: Full-time Experience: 2–5 Years in Education Sales / Counseling

Salary: ₹20,000 - ₹35,000 per month + Performance Incentives

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven and empathetic Senior Academic Counselor to join our team at TalentMark Academy. As a senior member, you will be the face of our institute, guiding students toward the right career paths in Accounting, Taxation, and Digital Marketing. You will be responsible for converting inquiries into admissions and ensuring students understand the value of our "100% Placement Assistance" promise.

Key Responsibilities

1. Counseling & Admissions (Core Role)

• Handle incoming leads (Calls, Website Inquiries, Walk-ins) and conduct professional counseling sessions.
• Guide students and working professionals on our core courses: Tally Prime with GST, Advanced Excel, Digital Marketing, and Financial Modeling.
• Understand the candidate's career goals and recommend the best-fit course package (e.g., Tally + Excel Combo).
• Achieve and exceed monthly admission targets.

2. Follow-ups & Pipeline Management

• Maintain a rigorous follow-up schedule with prospective students via phone, WhatsApp, and email.
• Manage the lead database (CRM/Excel) to ensure zero lead leakage.
• Re-engage old leads for new batch announcements.

3. Student Engagement & Support

• Address student queries regarding batch timings (Classroom vs. Online), fees, and certification.
• Assist students with the enrollment process, including documentation and fee collection.
• Act as a bridge between the students and the Placement Department to highlight our placement success stories during counseling.

4. Senior Duties

• Assist in training junior counselors or interns (if applicable).
• Provide market feedback to management regarding competitor activities in Indore.

Who We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Academic Counseling, Education Sales, or EdTech sales.
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication in Hindi and English. (Ability to build rapport instantly).
• Location: Must be based in Indore or willing to relocate.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools, Google Sheets, and Zoom/Google Meet for online counseling.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of the Accounting/Finance sector (understanding what GST, Tally, or ROI means is a big plus).
• Proven track record of closing high-ticket sales or hitting sales targets.
• High energy, patience, and a "student-first" attitude.
