Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled Tally Accountant to manage our financial records and ensure 100% statutory compliance. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of Tally Prime, GST laws, and the end-to-end GST filing process. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts and ensuring all tax liabilities are calculated and filed on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting: Day-to-day bookkeeping, including purchase, sales, receipt, and payment entries in Tally Prime.
• GST Compliance: Calculating GST liability, reconciling GSTR-2A/2B with purchase registers, and preparing data for GST returns.
• Filing: Handling the filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B. Knowledge of GSTR-9/9C is a plus.
• Reconciliation: Performing bank reconciliations and vendor/customer ledger reconciliations regularly.
• Documentation: Maintaining physical and digital records of invoices, vouchers, and tax documents.
• TDS & Statutory: Basic knowledge of TDS deduction and payment is preferred.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Software: Expert-level proficiency in Tally Prime
• Taxation: Thorough knowledge of GST laws, HSN codes, and tax rates.
• Education: 12th, B.Com, M.Com, or MBA in Finance.
• Certification: Candidates who have completed a professional Tally (like those offered at TalentMark Academy) will be given preference.
• Attributes: High accuracy in data entry and the ability to meet strict filing deadlines.
