Role Overview: As the Senior Academic Coordinator at the CBSE School Campus in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, your primary responsibility is to oversee academic planning, curriculum implementation, teacher supervision, and the quality of instruction to ensure alignment with CBSE guidelines. Your role is crucial in maintaining academic standards and fostering holistic student development. Key Responsibilities: - Curriculum Planning and Implementation: - Plan, organize, and supervise the academic calendar following CBSE norms. - Ensure effective implementation of lesson plans, assessments, and teaching methodologies. - Integrate skill-based and experiential learning activities into the curriculum. - Support the preparation and timely completion of CBSE documentation and reports. - Teacher Support and Training: - Mentor and guide teachers in academic planning, pedagogy, and classroom management. - Conduct regular classroom observations and provide performance feedback. - Identify training needs and organize teacher development programs and workshops. - Academic Monitoring and Evaluation: - Monitor student performance and learning outcomes through tests, projects, and exams. - Analyze academic results and implement strategies for improvement. - Maintain academic records and ensure timely submission of reports to management and CBSE authorities. - Coordination and Communication: - Coordinate between management, teachers, students, and parents on academic matters. - Conduct academic meetings, review sessions, and parent-teacher conferences. - Ensure smooth implementation of new CBSE initiatives and guidelines. - Innovation and Quality Assurance: - Promote innovative teaching practices and the use of technology in classrooms. - Maintain academic quality benchmarks and ensure continuous improvement. - Encourage co-curricular and value-based learning programs. Qualification Required: - Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject or Education (B.Ed/M.Ed mandatory). - Minimum 5-8 years of teaching experience and 2-3 years in an academic leadership or coordination role. - In-depth knowledge of CBSE curriculum & assessment systems. - Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
