Senior 3D Artist

who specializes in building visually striking characters and creatures for mobile and console titles. In this role, you’ll craft hero-quality assets, collaborate closely with cross-functional art and engineering teams, and help push the artistic benchmark of our games. You will be involved throughout the pipeline—from concept sculpts to game-ready implementation—ensuring every asset meets both creative and technical standards.

What You’ll Do

3D Character & Creature Production

Create high-fidelity 3D characters, creatures, and stylized assets for in-game use.Own the full pipeline: sculpting, modeling, retopology, UVs, baking, texturing, materials, and skinning.Develop assets based on concept art, creative briefs, and gameplay needs.

Cross-Team Collaboration

Work closely with Art Directors, Animation teams, Technical Artists, and Designers to maintain visual consistency.Partner with engineering teams to ensure assets integrate smoothly within game engines.Support cinematic and marketing teams with high-resolution character assets for trailers, key art, and promotional materials.

Optimization & Implementation

Optimize characters for real-time performance without compromising artistic quality.Ensure assets adhere to engine budgets, platform constraints, and animation requirements.Contribute to look-dev processes and shader/texture refinement.

Pipeline & Workflow Improvements

Help refine asset creation workflows, tools, and documentation.Share best practices and mentor junior artists to elevate team output.

Experience

Who You Are

5+ years of experience in the gaming industry working on 3D character or creature assets.A strong portfolio demonstrating anatomy understanding, sculpting mastery, stylized and realistic texturing, and complete high-poly to low-poly pipelines.

Technical Expertise

Proficiency in Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer, Photoshop, and similar tools.Deep understanding of anatomy, topology, silhouette design, deformation, and rig-ready modeling.Experience creating assets optimized for real-time engines (Unreal, Unity).

Bonus Skills

Experience in hair cards, grooming, cloth simulation, or creature creation.Pipeline generalist skills across props or environments.Familiarity with engine-level material setups, shaders, and look-dev.We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
