Role Overview: You are a Specialist in a particular sphere of technology, supporting the adoption and implementation of newer technology through your valuable technical knowledge or practical experience. Your role includes translating customer pain points and expectations into technical requirements, working closely with the sales and pre-sales team, providing recommendations for delivering application engineering solutions, visualizing and implementing new technology, identifying and reporting technical roadblocks, and staying updated with the latest technological advances in your field. Key Responsibilities: - Expertise in Material Science/ LAN Cable/Fiber Optic Cable/Connectivity - Support translation of customer pain points and expectations into technical requirements and prepare plans to address them appropriately - Work with the sales and pre-sales team to showcase the organizational capabilities in technology - Provide recommendations/ suggestions to seamlessly deliver application engineering solutions in Sterlite Tech to increase effectiveness and efficiency of solutions - Support the Technology Unit Head to visualize and implement new technology - Identify and report technical roadblocks in implementation or adoption - Stay abreast of the latest technological advances in your own field/sphere and initiate plans to implement the same at Sterlite - Responsible for propagating a culture of good manufacturing practices, driving values of Sterlite along with continuous improvement - Responsible for mentoring and coaching the reporting staff and other employees Qualification Required: - B.Tech/M.Tech with 8-12 years of experience - 10-15 years of pre-sales, design and implementation in Data Center networking, Server, Cloud - Understanding and solutioning of Server & Storage Solutions - Design, understanding, dimensioning of Private and Public Cloud (Redhat/VmWare/ AWS / Azure / GCP), Cloud Consulting, Cloud Migration, Cloud Design/Dimensioning, Cloud Deployment and Integration - Multi Vendor exposure - Understanding Enterprises Management Systems (EMS/NMS) and tools - Knowledge of IP/MPLS, Enterprise Networking, Campus networks, SD WAN preferred - Functional Experience in Access Points, Wireless LAN Controller (WLC), WAG etc. - Industry Certification: CCIE preferred, CCNP/Equivalent is a must in DC network domain About the Company: Sterlite Technologies (STL) is a leading global optical and digital solutions company that provides advanced offerings to build 5G, Rural, FTTx, Enterprise, and Data Centre networks.
