Business Development Manager Key Accountabilities: Hunting for new business opportunities and customers in the given geography across various business verticals Planning of sales strategies, the positioning in contrast to the competitors and the demonstration of the business Preparation of presentations about the Solution encompassing products (own, partners) & services with all their values for the usage of the sales engagement Coordination and organization of demand generating activities like tradeshows, company events or customer workshops Drive Client engagements by linking the Business to Technological needs in meeting Client investment objectives Work with the SCM/OEM teams in optimizing the Solution Cost Drive RFP specifications with clients, partners & Regulators Bring holistic view to client which is solution centric Work with Sales/TU teams in creating the Business Case Interface with Delivery team during sales and post-sales activities Skills required: Deep Knowledge of Telecom Networks and Supplier Ecosystem, particularly as it pertains to Optical Fiber, Optical Fiber Cable and FTTH. Good understanding of APAC markets, culture and key accounts in the region Hard core sales/BD professional with strong inter-personnel skills. Self-starter, Proactive thinker, Agile, Adaptive, Comfortable to build new relationship. Negotiation skills & Strategic Communication Excellent verbal and writing communication skills Telecom equipment/manufacturing industry preferred Experience: 10+ years of experience in the telecom business Experience in working with large Telcos in ANZ, specifically in the OF/OFC/FTTH space.
