Job Summary

The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the factory premises, employees, materials, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all security guards and ensure proper deployment across shifts.
• Control and record entry/exit of employees, visitors, vehicles, and materials.
• Conduct routine inspections of factory premises, including boundary walls, gates, and sensitive areas.
• Prevent theft, pilferage, and unauthorized access within the factory premises.
• Ensure CCTV systems, fire alarms, and other security devices are functional at all times.
• Maintain records of visitors, material movements, and security incidents.
• Coordinate with local police and fire departments during emergencies or incidents.
• Prepare and submit daily security reports and incident logs to the management.
• Assist in implementing safety and emergency response protocols in coordination with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) team.
• Train and discipline security staff to maintain vigilance, discipline, and professional conduct.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in industrial or factory security (preferably in hazardous manufacturing units).
• Retired personnel from defense, paramilitary, or police service preferred.
• Strong leadership, supervision, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of CCTV operations, fire safety, and emergency response procedures.

Education

• Minimum: 12th Pass / Diploma / Graduate (any discipline).
• Security or Safety certification preferred (e.g., Industrial Security, Fire & Safety, etc.).
