Job Title:

Associate / Associate Level 1

Location:

Chennai BNP Paribas ISPL

Business Line / Function:

Security Master & Benchmark (Investment Operations – AMO Department)

Position Purpose:

Part of Investment Operations team handling
Security Master, Pricing, Benchmark, and Reconciliations
.
Support creation of financial instruments, daily monitoring & validation of prices, benchmark setup, and client support.
Work on
data quality enhancement & process improvements
.

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing
: Update prices for listed & OTC securities (APAC & EMEA regions).
Asset Creation
: Setup securities across instruments in accounting platforms.
Benchmarking
: Create/maintain indices & benchmarks for funds/mandates.
Query Resolution
: Handle internal/external pricing and benchmark queries.
Process Control
: Perform daily/weekly/monthly reporting & controls.
Continuous Improvement
: Identify areas for automation & operational excellence.

Requirements:

Basic Knowledge

Capital Markets
Security Pricing / Asset Setup / Benchmarking
Instrument types (Equities, Bonds, Unit Trusts)

Technical

Strong system functionality understanding
Data retrieval from vendors (Bloomberg, Telekurs, Reuters)
Troubleshooting skills

Qualifications

1–3 years
in Benchmark, Static Data, or Pricing (Listed & OTC)
Post-Graduation (Mathematics background is a plus)
Experience with market data providers (Bloomberg, Reuters, Telekurs)
