Search Engine Optimization Specialist

We’re looking for an SEO Specialist who breathes search algorithms, lives for organic growth, and thrives on turning weaknesses into wins. You’ll own end-to-end SEO strategy—from technical audits to content optimization—for clients/our brand, ensuring we dominate SERPs with sustainable (not spammy) tactics. Key Responsibilities:

SEO Mastery

• Conduct deep site audits (Screaming Frog, Ahrefs) to fix crawl errors, site speed, and indexation issues.
• Implement schema markup, canonical tags, and hreflang like a pro.
• Optimize JavaScript-heavy sites for search bots (SPA/SSR? No problem).

Content & On-Page Optimization

• Reverse-engineer competitor content gaps (SurferSEO, Clearscope).
• Craft SEO briefs that balance keyword intent with readability.
• Train writers to avoid "keyword stuffing" while maximizing TF-IDF signals.

Off-Page & Authority Building

• Build high-impact backlinks through data-driven outreach (Skyscraper, HARO, partnerships).
• Turn brand mentions into unlinked gold with NinjaOutreach or BuzzStream.
• Leverage PR for "news SEO" (Google Discover, Top Stories).

Data-Driven Execution

• Track rankings, traffic, and conversions (GA4, Looker Studio).
• Diagnose traffic drops (algorithm update? penalty? cannibalization?).
• A/B test meta titles, CTAs, and internal links for CTR boosts.

Stay Ahead of the Curve

• Test beta features (Google SGE, AI Overviews).
• Adapt to zero-click SERPs (featured snippets, People Also Ask).
• Debate Core Web Vitals vs. EEAT like it’s your favorite podcast topic.

Skills & Qualifications:

✔ 3-4 years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house).

✔ Tool fluency: Ahrefs/SEMrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SurferSEO.

✔ Proven results: Share case studies (e.g., "Grew organic traffic by X% in Y months").

✔ Content instincts: Know how to optimize for searcher intent, not just algorithms.

✔ Adaptability: Survived a Google update? Explain how you pivoted.
