Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Customer Service

Handle
sea export nomination shipments
received from overseas agents or customers
Act as the single point of contact for customers and overseas partners
Provide timely shipment updates, sailing schedules, and status reports
Address customer queries, operational issues, and escalation matters professionally

Documentation

Prepare and process export documents including:

Shipping Instructions
Draft & Final Bills of Lading
Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates (as applicable)

Ensure documentation accuracy as per customer, carrier, and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with customers for documentation approvals and amendments
Upload and share documents with overseas agents and internal teams

Operations Coordination

Liaise with shipping lines, CFS, transporters, and customs brokers
Ensure timely booking confirmation, container pickup, and cargo gating-in
Monitor cut-off dates, SI filing, VGM submission, and sailing schedules
Track shipments until final destination and ensure smooth handover to destination agents

Compliance & Reporting

Ensure adherence to export regulations, SOPs, and company policies
Maintain shipment records, MIS reports, and documentation files
Support audits and internal reporting requirements

Preferred candidate profile

3-8 years of experience
in Freight Forwarding Sea Export Customer Service / Documentation
Hands-on experience with shipping lines and overseas agent coordination
Strong knowledge of
Sea Export operations and documentation
Experience in handling
nomination accounts
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments
Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities
