Role Overview

SDWAN Engineer

Main Responsibilities

• Level 3 Expertise & Collaboration
• Act as the top-tier technical expert for SDWAN.
• Collaborate with architecture partners to evolve the SDWAN design.
• Operations & Incident Management
• Ensure product maintenance and support.
• Lead resolution efforts for major incidents (P1 level).
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
• Draft and maintain HLD/LLD and operational documentation.
• Train and support the NOC team with procedures and technical insights.
• Technology Roadmap & Innovation
• Monitor vendor updates and suggest performance-enhancing features.
• Co-develop the SDWAN technology roadmap with service leads and build teams.
• Internal Communication & Enablement
• Host webinars and meetings to present SDWAN solutions internally.
• Maintain a catalog of standards (site topologies, equipment types, ISP links).
• Cybersecurity & Compliance
• Ensure SDWAN architecture complies with cybersecurity standards.
• Project Participation & Change Management
• Translate business/service requirements into technical specifications.
• Propose integration solutions and bring changes to CAB with NOC.
• Travel & HNO Support
• Occasional travel and High Night Operations (HNO) support required.
  

Key Requirements

• Degree equivalent to BAC+5 in Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in network engineering or architecture.
• Proven expertise in SDWAN technologies, preferably Cisco Catalyst SDWAN.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure services and ITIL processes.
• Experience in change management and service transformation projects.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Autonomous, collaborative, and proactive mindset.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud services integration.
• Familiarity with automation tools related to network management.
• Knowledge of emerging network technologies.
