SDET

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern test automation tools and frameworks.
• Design and implement test frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand product architecture and features, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to validate product quality.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and document defects effectively.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality of the codebase.
• Monitor and analyze test results, identifying trends and suggesting improvements to the testing process.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in test automation and quality assurance.
  

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as an SDET or a similar role in software testing and automation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e. g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or other databases for data validation and testing.
• Skills: Python, Playwright.
