Job Description

SDE-2

What You’ll Do

  • Own and deliver features end-to-end

     across Node.js (backend) and React (frontend).

  • Design scalable, extensible systems

     with sound architecture that balances speed with long-term maintainability.

  • Lead a small team (2–3 developers)

     — guiding juniors, enforcing code quality, and instilling engineering best practices.

  • Interface directly with US-based clients and stakeholders

     to gather requirements, clarify ambiguity, and ensure on-time delivery.

  • Drive engineering excellence

     — introduce and maintain code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, and operational best practices.

  • Leverage AI tools smartly

     to boost productivity, while ensuring quality and correctness.

  • Handle ambiguity with ownership

     — take unclear requirements, shape them into actionable solutions, and deliver with speed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong proficiency in 

    Node.js + React

     with a track record of shipping production-grade systems.
  • Experience in 

    system design

     and ability to architect software that scales.
  • Excellent 

    communication and stakeholder management skills

     — can talk to both developers and clients with clarity.
  • Experience mentoring/leading small developer teams.
  • Bias for action: a 

    go-getter

     who thrives in dynamic, changing environments.
  • Strong grounding in 

    engineering discipline

    : testing, code reviews, CI/CD, monitoring.
  • Comfort with using AI-assisted development tools effectively.

Bonus Points

  • Prior experience in a 

    startup environment

     (juggling services + product).
  • Exposure to 

    multi-tenant SaaS systems

    DevOps/Cloud infra
