Scrum Master

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities

1. Scrum Facilitation & Team Coaching

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review, Retrospective).
• Remove impediments and coach teams toward higher levels of Scrum maturity.
• Support new Agile team formation through training and defining working norms.
• Mentor team members in self-organization and cross-functionality.

2. Process Improvement & Metrics

• Define, track, and report Agile metrics (e.g., burn-down charts, velocity, team satisfaction).
• Drive continuous improvement of Agile processes within teams and at the organizational level.
• Participate in Agile Communities of Practice to share knowledge and support transformation.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration & Product Excellence

• Partner with Product Owners to refine and optimize the Product Backlog for maximum value delivery.
• Act as a bridge between development teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Ensure delivery aligns with quality, scope, and timeline commitments while keeping customer focus.

Key Requirements

• Agile Experience:

   relevant work experience in Agile practices, transformation, change management, or consulting.

• Scrum Knowledge:

   Strong understanding of Scrum framework, artifacts, and ceremonies.

• Agile Methodologies:

   Exposure to Kanban, Lean, XP, TDD.

• Design Thinking:

   Experience with Design Thinking and Story Mapping.

• Mindset & Skills:

• Growth mindset and continuous learning attitude.
• Commitment to Agile values and principles.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to drive innovation with practical implementation.

Future Challenges

• Collaborate with peers and Service Manager to develop Policy Administration within Allianz Technology.
