Job Description

Scrum Master,

Key Responsibilities

Agile Facilitation:

Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure that Agile principles and best practices are consistently applied across teams.

Sprint Management:

Plan, monitor, and manage sprint activities to ensure timely delivery.
Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress.
Support the Product Owner in maintaining a well-refined product backlog.

Team Management & Collaboration:

Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
Coach team members on Agile principles and encourage self-organization.
Promote open communication and effective problem-solving among cross-functional teams.

Stakeholder Management:

Act as a bridge between the development team and key stakeholders.
Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies clearly and proactively.
Ensure stakeholder expectations are aligned with sprint goals and deliverables.

Continuous Improvement:

Monitor team performance metrics and identify areas for process optimization.
Drive initiatives that enhance team productivity and delivery quality.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
3–7 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment.
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and software development life cycles.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams through Agile transformations.
