This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly capable Scrum Master (8-10 years) with strong hands-on experience in Azure DevOps and Confluence to support our engineering teams. The role requires excellent facilitation skills, strong understanding of Agile delivery, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders to ensure predictable and high-quality sprint outcomes.

This role is contributing to the Motion Business Service Division in Bangalore India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Driving Agile Delivery - Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement) and ensure adherence to Agile principles with a consistent sprint cadence.

• Removing Delivery Impediments - Proactively identify and resolve blockers to enable smooth and predictable delivery.

• Managing Azure DevOps Boards - Own sprint planning, backlog structuring, workflow configuration, and maintain accurate updates, tagging, and reporting across all workstreams.

• Tracking Metrics & Dashboards - Monitor sprint burndown, velocity, dependencies, and generate dashboards to provide visibility into progress and performance.

• Maintaining Confluence Documentation - Ensure clear, updated documentation of sprint plans, retrospectives, decisions, and processes establish and enforce documentation standards.

• Coaching & Collaboration - Guide teams on Agile practices, support backlog prioritization with Product Owners, and foster collaboration across engineering, QA, product, architecture, and operations.

• Reporting & Communication - Deliver timely updates on risks, blockers, and progress to stakeholders drive transparency and improve predictability, quality, and throughput.

• Continuous Improvement - Analyze team health metrics and delivery KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related fields.

• 8-10 years total experience, with significant experience as a Scrum Master.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps Boards (work item management, sprint setup, dashboards, queries).

• Proficient in Confluence documentation, space structuring, and knowledge management. Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP) is a plus.

• Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery best practices.

• Experience supporting distributed engineering teams. Understanding of SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and basic technical concepts.Knowledge of scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale).

• Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Experience in software product companies, industrial automation, IoT, analytics, or enterprise platforms.
