About the Role We’re looking for a talented scriptwriter to craft cinematic, emotionally grounded narration scripts for our real-incident and true-crime video series. You’ll transform verified case timelines and factual context into gripping, human-centered stories that flow naturally for voiceover. The goal is to immerse viewers in real events — maintaining authenticity, emotional depth, and journalistic integrity without sensationalism. What You’ll Do Write clear, engaging narration scripts based on real cases and provided timelines. Build narrative tension and emotional flow through structure, pacing, and tone. Follow our Tone & Style Guidelines to ensure consistent storytelling across episodes. Integrate factual background and emotional framing naturally without speculation. Deliver polished, voice-ready scripts under professional deadlines. What We’re Looking For Exceptional command of English and strong storytelling instincts. Background in scriptwriting, journalism, documentaries. Ability to write in a neutral yet cinematic tone suitable for spoken narration. Deep respect for real subjects and sensitive material. Understanding of narrative rhythm — setup, escalation, climax, and resolution. Ability to balance factual precision with emotional resonance. Bonus Points Experience writing for true-crime, documentary, or human-interest storytelling. Familiarity with pacing scripts to visual sequences.
