SC Buyer- Business Continuity Planning

As an SC Buyer focusing on Business Continuity Planning, your role involves conducting regular evaluations of Human Safety, facility, equipment, and machinery at the Vendor end to detect and rectify any hazards. You need to educate vendor personnel on safety regulations and ensure compliance with safety policies through safety audits and meetings with the safety committee. Additionally, you will be responsible for organizing and ensuring the training of Vendor Logistic operators entering MSIL and educating suppliers on the requirements of ISO-45001. Your participation in a multidisciplinary team to investigate accidents, analyze underlying causes, and devise preventive and corrective measures is crucial. IT Enablement of all actions in conjunction with stakeholders is also part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular evaluations of Human Safety, facility, equipment, and machinery at Vendor end - Educate vendor personnel on safety regulations and perform safety audits - Organize and Ensure training of Vendor Logistic operators entering MSIL - Educate suppliers on the requirement of ISO-45001 - Participate in investigating accidents and devising preventive measures - Bring in IT Enablement of all actions in conjunction with stakeholders Qualification Required: - B.E./B.Tech. along with PGDINDS-Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety/ ADIS/ other equivalent qualification - Thorough knowledge & understanding of Fire safety & human safety process/aspects/regulation - Very Strong Communication & Follow-up skills - Proficiency in using MS Office (MS Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook, Power BI) - Desirable- Previous experience of coordinating with a large Automobile/Auto-ancillary vendor base - Good Analytical skills & presentation skills - Strategic Thinking and able to propose long term solutions/Digitalization - Desirable-Knowledge of best industry practices for human safety and relevant rules & regulations In this role, you should exhibit strong interpersonal & co-ordination skills, target orientation, be a team player, possess networking skills, ability to work within strict timelines, strong execution orientation, and a problem-solving approach.,
