Job Description

SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the SAP SD module implementation, enhancement, and support initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Configure and customize the SAP SD module, including pricing, billing, order management, delivery processing, and returns.
  • Manage integration points between SD and other SAP modules (MM, FI, PP, WM).
  • Guide and mentor junior SD consultants on the team.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve sales and distribution processes.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), data migration, and go-live activities.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide long-term solutions in production environments.
  • Prepare documentation: Functional specs, test scripts, and training manuals.
  • Coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD, including at least

    2 full lifecycle implementations

    .
  • Strong knowledge of order-to-cash processes, pricing procedures, invoicing, credit management, and shipping.
  • Experience in

    S/4HANA

    is preferred.
  • Good understanding of

    SD-FI

    and

    SD-MM

    integrations.
  • Leadership experience in guiding small to mid-sized teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP SD Certification.
  • Experience in

    Public Cloud / On-Premise S/4HANA

    implementations.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Hybrid project methodologies.
