Role: SAP S4HANA – Sales and Service Technical Consultant

Remote / Onsite (with potential travel to Europe)

Contractual, 3-6 months with possibility of long-term contracts

Hourly-based


About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S4HANA Sales and Service Technical Consultant to join our project team on a contractual basis. The consultant will be responsible for supporting, debugging, and enhancing SAP S4HANA Sales and Service modules, with strong integration to the SAP Sales and Service Cloud.

This role is ideal for a technically strong professional with deep ABAP debugging expertise, who can collaborate effectively with functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions. As this is a global project, you may be required to travel to Europe for client workshops, deployment, or support activities.


Key responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and hands-on support in SAP S4HANA Sales and Service modules.
  • Perform ABAP debugging, code corrections, and performance tuning.
  • Work on custom developments, user exits, BADIs, and enhancements.
  • Support end-to-end integration between S4HANA and SAP Sales & Service Cloud.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in collaboration with business and functional consultants.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and test cases.
  • Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to junior technical team members.


Required skills and expertise

  • 6–8 years of SAP technical experience, with at least 4+ years in SAP S4HANA Sales & Service modules.
  • Strong ABAP development and debugging expertise (OO-ABAP, Enhancements, BADIs, User Exits).
  • Hands-on experience with SAP CDS views, OData services, Fiori apps, and REST APIs.
  • Proven experience in integration between S4HANA and SAP Sales & Service Cloud.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with global clients.


Preferred qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
  • SAP S4HANA certification in Sales & Distribution, Customer Service, or Sales Cloud is preferred.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Solution Manager) is an added advantage
